How To Make Natural Dog Shampoo

As we all know, dogs need consistent grooming in order to keep a clean and healthy coat. Many pet owners are turning to natural products when it comes to pet products that are both safe and innexpensive. Natural dog shampoos may either be purchased or alternatevily made at home with relative ease and low expense.

Items Needed:

Ivory Dish Soap, 2 cups

Water, 2 cups

Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 cups

Glycerine, 1/2 cup

Medium to Large Sized Bowl

Empty Shampoo Bottles

Marker or Sticky Labels

Instructions:

Add 2 cups of Ivory dish soap, 2 cups of water, and the cups of apple cider vinegar into the bowl. Mix well until thoroughly combined. Add the 1/2 cup of glycerine to the mixture and stir again until combined. Pour the shampoo mixture into the empty shampoo bottles, using a funnel will make this an easy process. Close the lids on the shampoo bottles and using a marker or labels mark your pet's name onto the bottles to prevent confusion.

Note* Glycerine may be purchased in the pharmacy section of many stores, usually located among the alcohol and peroxide products

Ivory dish soap is a gentle formula, however, if you're dog has sensitive skin test the shampoo by applying to a small area, cleanse, and observe.
